Sierra participated at Zendari Song Contest for the first time in Zendari Song Contest 2.
History
Zendari Song Contest 2
It was announced on 7th January that SPB had internally selected LANY, a well known group in the region, to represent Sierra in its debut edition. They will sing ‘Super Far’, taken from their most recent album. They qualified at 5th place with 87 points, and finished 13th in the final with the same number of points.
Zendari Song Contest 3
On 10th February, SPB announced that they have selected upcoming singer Natali Felicia, originally from Slatefort, Sierra, to represent them for the third edition. She will sing ‘Run Like The River’, released in September of last year. She qualified at 10th with 58 points and finished at 19th with 78 points in the final.
Zendari Song Contest 4
It was revealed on 24th February that SPB will host Northern Sierra Festival 1 to select they entry for the next edition, with 8 acts in the final. Two entries were revealed each day, with the voting opening on 1st March. The winner was JinSoul, member of KPOP group LOONA (who are also based in Vasseau and the Kingdom of Othar), who won with her song ’Singing In The Rain’. She qualified at 3rd with 86 points and finished 19th with 80 points in the final.
Zendari Song Contest 5
It was revealed on 15th April that SPB had selected Paloma Faith to represent the country next edition, with her songs ‘’Til I’m Done’. Paloma qualified to final in third place with 100 points, and managed to win the final for Sierra, giving them their first ever win, with 191 points.
Zendari Song Contest 6
On the 18th of May, SPB revealed a short teaser for their entrant on home ground after Paloma Faith's victory the previous edition. On the 29th, it was revealed that new singer Talitha Tan would sing with the song Please Stay. She finished 26th in the grand final with 62 points, only ahead of the disqualified Rose.
