Sophie Long, formerly known as Samuel long, going by the monomer SOPHIE, born September 17, 1985, is a Wo Xi'i singer, songwriter, and record producer. SOPHIE is known for her 'weird' alternative music, and has produced music for many other artists such as Charli XCX.

SOPHIE originally released her album 'Product' in 2015, featuring songs from as early as 2013. In 2017 she began releasing more singles as part of her upcoming album titled 'Whole New World'.

In 2017 it was revealed that SOPHIE is transgender. She decided to formally reveal her face to the public in the music video of her first single in her new album, Whole New World, in 2017. The music video features SOPHIE's face throughout the entirety of the song, wearing red lipstick and appearing to have had top surgery as part of her transition into becoming a woman.
