La Chanson Violaise, known as The Violían Song in English, was the national final selection process organised by Diamantique Television (previously La Radiodiffusion Violaise) to determine Violía's entries for the Zendari Song Contest from the tenth edition to the fourteenth edition.
History
The first edition of La Chanson Violaise was confirmed to take place after King Clément of Violía decided that it would be better to have international juries help assist Violía in their choice of song for the Zendari Song Contest. It saw 6 artists take part in a bid to represent Violía in Zendari Song Contest 10. On November 18, 2018, Palmer was crowned the winner with her song "Étrange ami" with 86 points beating Madeline Juno by 4 points. She placed 19th with 89 points in the contest overall.
The second edition saw 6 new artists battle it out to represent Violía in Zendari Song Contest 11. On December 23, 2018, Penelope Austin emerged as the winner with her song "Gem" with 58 points beating KÁRYYN by 14 points. She placed 20th with 71 points in the contest overall.
The third edition returned with a twist in the format which was the televote. 6 more artists attempted to represent Violía in Zendari Song Contest 12. On February 11, 2019, AURORA won the national final with her song "Animal" with 93 points beating CupcakKe by just 1 point. She placed 14th with 86 points in the contest overall which is currently the best placement that Violía has ever got in any Zendari Song Contest edition.
The fourth edition came back with another twist in the format which was the addition of a Super Final. 6 new artists took part in order to represent Violía in Zendari Song Contest 13. On April 6, 2019, Clara Mae won the national final with her song "Rooftop" with 118 points beating SVEA by just 1 point.
The fifth and final edition saw 4 new artists and 2 returning artists take part in a bid to represent Violía in Zendari Song Contest 14. On June 1, 2019, ABIR won the national final with her song "Way Out" with 123 points beating SVEA by 29 points.
