It was first used when Rhosỳna made it's debut in the Zendari Song Contest during it's 9th Edition

History

The first edition of Gŵyl Gân Rhosỳna was confirmed to take place after Fleur East was internally selected to represent Rhosỳna in it's first edition of the Zendari Song Contest. Four songs took part, all performed by Fleur East.

The second edition saw seven different artists competing to represent Rhosỳna in the Zendari Song Contest 10. On the 17th November, Grace Carter was crowned the winner with her song "Why Her Not Me" with 59 points. Beating out Xobranian singer, Robinson by 5 points. Carter eventually placed second in the contest overall, giving the country it's best result to date.

The third edition returned with the same format as that of the previous one, seven artists competed with seven international jurors voting. On the 3rd January, Othari band, CHVRCHES won the national final with 64 points, with CXLOE coming runner-up with a 11 point margin separating the two.

The fourth edition returned with 10 international jurors, the most of any previous edition. 7 artists competed, LOVA emerged victorious with her song "My Name Isn't" with 70 points, beating Tom Odell by two points.

The fifth edition saw two returning artists in Grace Carter and Lauv both of who had previously competed in the second edition and third edition respectively. 10 international jurors once again voted, with Grace Carter winning by a 22-point margin, the largest to date. Runner-up Nadia Almada would go on to represent the country in the tenth edition of Zendarifestivalen.

Darlledwr Teledu Rhosỳna would opt to selecting it's Zendari entries through Internal Selection, with no editions of Gŵyl Gân Rhosỳna taking place during the fourteenth or fifteenth editions.
