Amélie Nadyushchenko (formerly known as Amélie Nadyu-Shenkőves) is a model, singer, general icon and the current President of Éimi.

Early Life and Education

Nadyushchenko was born to Russian Shenkő human rights lawyer Daniil Nadyu-Shenkőves (born Daniil Nadyushchenko) and his Shenkőves wife, Dorit (née Szesfértész) in 2003 in Csokai. Her father had changed his name to its Shenkőves equivalent while studying at the Colleghe Shenkőves Law Faculty during the war in order to hide his background from potentially hostile Shenkőves natives. Dorit Nadyu-Shenkcves lectures in both general linguistics and her specialism, syntax, at universities across the Zendari world, holding the Professorship of Linguistics at Laigheann's prestigious University College.

Nadyushchenko was raised multilingual, speaking all four languages of the territory fluently, though she has said herself that she considers her grasp of Catalan to weaker than the others.

Nadyushchenko graduated high school at the age of just thirteen and attained her first-class degree in Political Science and Sociology, which she completed with a dissertation on the importance of eyebrows in Zendari politics, in 2017 from the Colleghe Shenkőves. She has alluded to hopes of continuing her studies abroad in the future, possibly at the highly-ranked National University of Xobrania.

Celebrity

Nadyushchenko first rose to prominence in 2008 after winning popular reality TV show "Eyebrow Battles," in which she was judged as having the best eyebrows of all contestants despite being just 5 years old. Winning the show secured her a modelling contract and brought her worldwide fame. At 11, she made her fashion week debut, and has featured on the cover of most leading fashion magazines. The onset of her fame in the late 2000s was dubbed "Nadyu-mania."

Shortly after her explosion into pop culture, Nadyushchenko ventured into the world of music, with her debut album "Songs About Clinical Depression" going 3x Platinum in her home country and a total of 7x Platinum worldwide. Her latest album, "Talentless," topped the charts in 21 countries, as well as going 5x Platinum. "Falcon Eye" is known as her signature song, which she has states she finds ironic as she originally performed it as a cover. Nadyushchenko is Éimi's best selling musician, having sold over 250 million records worldwide.

Nadyushchenko is well known in the media for her love of and collection of patterned flared trousers, a cultural garment of the Catalankő people.

Nadyushchenko had a well publicised breakdown at the age of 12, the cause of which she cites as burnout. During this, she famously shaved off over two thirds of each of her eyebrows, a move which graced the covers of the tabloids and gossip magazines across the Zendari world. Following the breakdown, she lived alone in the Nagornyy region of her home territory for six months, the only contact she made being with local monks.

Nadyushchenko is also a competitive swimmer, having represented Éimi (then Amelioraï) multiple times on the world stage, despite failing to rank higher than 19th in her chosen disciplines.

Political Career

In 2018, Nadyushchenko was elected to the ceremonial position of President of Éimi by a referendum which she won by almost 86%. As a leader, Nadyushchenko is well known for her strong opinions and assertiveness alongside her tolerance. She also changed her surname to the Russian version, Nadyushchenko (Надющенко), as part of a series of reforms and compromises to finally put an end to ethnic divisions in the country.

Personal Life

Nadyushchenko is intensely private regarding her personal life and relationships. She is bisexual, and the first openly LGBTQ Éian President.

Nadyushchenko is a lifelong vegetarian.
